An optically transparent and ultra-wideband absorber based on multi-layer structure

摘要
An optically transparent and ultra-wideband meta-material absorber (MA) using multi-layer structure is proposed in this paper. The MA is made of indium thin oxide (ITO) films and transparent plastic. According to the simulation, the MA realizes high absorption over 80% during 3 ~24.5 GHz for both transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) incidences. The MA also shows stable absorbing capability for oblique incidences of <; 40°. The optical transparency and good absorption performance make the MA can be a promising candidate for the application of transparent stealth.
