摘要
In article number 1900328, Noo Li Jeon and co-workers' work highlights engineered neovascular models inspired by ocular angiogenesis for drug screening with high throughput. The ready-to-use microfluidic platform enables functional and morphological vessel modeling based on a simple experimental approach and robust reproducible results. The well-established model can yield dose-dependent responses for anti-angiogenic drugs. This model has the potential to replace the ocular angiogenesis assay performed in animal experiments.
