摘要

•DD/DT neutron sources were employed in the calibration of the EAST neutron activation system.•The appropriate thickness of samples should not exceed 20 mm.•The efficiency was obtained within uncertainties of 3.5%.•The fission chamber corresponds well with the neutron yield evaluated by NAS in 2018.
