Kamerabasierte Durchflussmessung in offenen Kanälen und Flüssen

Camera-based methods are a revolutionary non-intrusive measuring technique and possess clear advantages against conventional methods. The newly developed camera-based system DischargeKeeper presented in this paper is a completely new method for the continuous and on-site acquisition and storage of flow velocity profile, water level, and flow rate of natural water streams, irrigation, and waste water channels. The equipment was successfully tested and validated at several sites and under different weather and light conditions.
