摘要

•TiO2 nanowire arrays (NWAs) were fabricated in-situ on TA5 alloy for the first time.•The preparation conditions of TiO2 NWAs on TA5 alloy were systematically studied.•TiO2 NWAs exhibit a high capacitance of 60.2 mF cm−2 and outstanding cycle stability.•TiO2 NWAs on TA5 alloy is a potential material for binder-free supercapacitors.
