LGI3 is secreted and binds to ADAM22 via TRIF-dependent NF-κB pathway in response to LPS in human keratinocytes.

•LPS stimulated the COX-2-dependent secretion of LGI3 in HaCaT cells.•LPS activated NF-κB via a TRIF-dependent pathway, which bound to the LGI3 promoter.•LGI3 associated with ADAM22 in LPS-treated keratinocytes.•Keratinocyte-derived LGI3 mediates LPS-induced inflammation.
