Development and testing of iAware model for ubiquitous care of patients with symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.

•We propose iAware, a model for ubiquitous care of patients with anxiety, depression and stress disorders using gamification and biodata.•The biodata collected from smartband was used as context to identify anxiety moments.•A/B test was used to evaluate the engagement of patients who used the gamified version.•A prototype allowed an evaluation through the Technology Acceptance Model involving patients with anxiety disorder.•The results point that iAware is useful for the anxiety treatment.
