摘要
Medicinal plants are an inexhaustible source of bioactive molecules. They can be produced by the various organs of the plant or by mutual endophytic fungi present within the latter. It is with this in mind that we were interested in a spontaneous plant in the arid zones of Algeria (Laghouat): Peganum harmala L. Our interest in this work focused on the demonstration of the antimitotic and antiproliferative activities of the extracts. Cranial fungi of the genera Cladosporium, Alternaria, Aspergillus and Penicillium: endophytic foliar fungi of Peganum harmala L. and their different combinations. The extraction of crude fungal secondary metabolites was carried out using ethyl acetate. The results confirm their action in inhibiting mitosis, as well as the combinations of extracts made, thus producing chromosomal and cellular abnormalities. Tests on Saccharomyces cerevisiae also indicate the presence of antiproliferative activity of the various fungal extracts, thus reflecting a cytotoxic effect. Key words: Peganum harmala L., foliar endophytic fungi, fungal extracts, antimitotic activity, antiproliferative activity, Laghouat (Algeria).
