Mixing and regime transition analysis of liquid-solid conical fluidized bed through RPT technique

•Experimentally investigated the effect of inlet velocity on a liquid-solid conical bed.•Bed composition varied to understand the effect of solid wt% in a binary mixture.•Both mono and binary dispersed bed are compared using time series and chaos tools.•Regime change observed at 0.1 m/s liquid inlet velocity for both the solid.
