摘要
•A novel designed propeller was utilized for mixing of the non-Newtonian fluids.•The experimental result was consistent with the inverse theoretical calculation at the design point.•The effects of the propeller positions and rotation speed, Reynolds number were quantified.•The UDA data were utilized to demonstrate the flow patterns.•Non-ideal flows such as caverns and vorticity within the vessel were identified.
