Effects of fiber orientation and content on the static and fatigue behavior of SFRC by using CT-Scan technology

摘要
•CT-Scan is a powerful tool to obtain the fiber orientation and distribution in concrete specimens.•The results reveal a strong correlation between fiber orientation and fatigue life.•CT-Scan shows that, in general the fibers bridge the cracks properly.•However, many times cracks surround the fiber, inhibiting their mechanical capacity.•It is also observed that the ends of the fibres were common places to the presence of small pores.
