摘要
A highly linear 3rd-order active-RC low-pass filter with 30MHz-3dB bandwidth in 28nm CMOS is presented. Since the power supply in 28nm CMOS has been reduced to 0.9V, there are many challenges in the design of analog circuits. Common-mode level-shifting circuits are added both at the input and output stages of the embedded operational amplifier, which guarantee high linearity at low power supply. The proposed operational amplifier topology has been used in the 3rd-order Butterworth low-pass filter. The simulation results show that the proposed filter achieves a 30MHz-3dB bandwidth with a power consumption of 617.4 mu W from a 0.9V power supply. The filter also achieves high linearity, with an output P1dB of 8.515dBm and IIP3 of 35.3dBm.
