摘要

•The numerical model of Parabolic Trough Collectors for Direct Steam Generation is presented.•The model is based on a step by step finite volume method.•The validation of the numerical results with experiments has shown good agreements.•A sensitivity analysis is performed and optimal working conditions are derived.
