Determination of the Magnetic Principal Axes of a Dysprosium Complex with Slow Relaxation on a Single Crystal

•The strong uniaxial anisotropy and magneto-structural correlations are investigated in a low-symmetry Dy(III) complex by angular-resolved magnetometry.•The ground state doublet component is analyzed by the magnetic susceptibility measurement along the magnetic easy axis.
