Studying thermal protection for mobile sensor operating in combustion environment

So far, the size of industrial energy and recovery boilers has been increased continuously. This development has led to a situation where the middle parts of the large boilers are extremely difficult to reach with traditional measurement methods. Due to this, our research group has studied possibilities to develop a mobile sensor ball propagating freely also in the center parts of combustion chambers.
