Frame Soft Shrinkage as Proximity Operator

Based on the well-known characterization of proximity operators by Moreau, we give a short proof that the frame shrinkage operator $T^\dagger S_\lambda (T \cdot)$, where $T \in {\mathbb R}^{n \times d}$ with $n \ge d$ has full rank, is a proximity operator.
