摘要
Throughput constraints for networked-control-systems (NCS) are well known in TCP/IP shared networks. The common strategies to cope with them are centered on developing specific transport protocols or on overloading the network resources. On the other side, the send-on-delta (SoD) solutions are transmission strategies to save network resources based on the behavior of the control-system. In this paper, a transmission strategy called Network-Adaptive Send-on-Delta (NA-SoD) is presented. It is based on a transport protocol that uses the trinomial-algorithm and the send-on-delta method. The analysis and simulation results deduce that this strategy permits a control-system to remain in the stability zone even in high network congestion scenarios, and to share fairly the network resources.
