Prognostic factors and seizure outcome in posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) in children with hematological malignancies and bone marrow failure: A retrospective monocentric study.

•PRES in children with hematological malignancies has an overall good prognosis.•Evolution to epilepsy after PRES is rare.•The severity and duration of PSH is not associated with worse seizure outcome.•The severity of acute seizures and EEG patterns does not indicate worse prognosis.•Gliosis on follow-up MRI indicates worse outcome with development of epilepsy.
