摘要
•RSSI-based location tracking approaches require a laborious calibration process.•The number of signals (RNSI) from BLE beacons is used to detect a user location.•RNSI values decreased more consistently with distance compared to RSSI values.•The RNSI-based method effectively filtered out signals from incorrect locations.•The proposed method may complement other indoor location tracking methods.
