Chronic myeloid leukemia in a patient with psoriasis following bimolane treatment.

Bimolane is a member of the bisdioxopiperazine class of anti-tumor drug that can inhibit DNA synthesis . It could effectively inhibit the excessive proliferation of the involved epidermal cells in psoriasis patients thus alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis. We report a patient who developed chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) after bimolane treatment for psoriasis. Imatinib treatment successfully controlled both CML and psoriasis.
