The Murate Project and Vasari’s Last Supper

The Murate Project aims to virtually rebuild a Florentine building, the Murate Convent which no longer exists. Particularly the study focused on the virtual reconstruction of the refectory, with the aim to recreate its original appearance and to find the location of one of Vasari's masterpieces. This work was carried out by a multidisciplinary team, which includes researchers from VAST-LAB of PIN and from PRISMA, a spin-off of the University, conservators of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure of Florence and the University of Florence.
