Effects of four additives in pig manure composting on greenhouse gas emission reduction and bacterial community change.

•The four selected additives can improve compost qualities.•The most effective reducers of greenhouse gas emission were MS (CH4) and WV (N2O).•Firmicutes and Proteobacteria dominated in thermophile stage while added in another.•pH, T, TOC and DOC related with the thermophilic stage while EC and TKN with another.
