Long-term treatment outcomes of patients with primary optic nerve sheath meningioma treated with stereotactic radiotherapy.

•Primary optic nerve sheath meningiomas treated with stereotactic radiotherapy have excellent long-term local control.•Vision preservation is high particularly in patients with good pre-treatment vision.•Stereotactic radiotherapy is well tolerated with low rates in acute and late toxicity.
