Specific Needs of Medical Students for Organ Donation Courses: A Qualitative Study in China.

•To the best of our knowledge, there is no organ donation promotion education in China at present. This study explored the design of the content and teaching modes of organ donation education.•This research was conducted from the perspective of those who will receive the organ donation course—medical students—so as to provide a necessary foundation for the later course practice and student acceptance.
