摘要
We present a resistive FIR DAC targeted for audio applications with a low distortion output routing method and a current output reference. The design combines vector element selection and fixed transitioning of elements to shape mismatch errors and suppress intersymbol interference. The vector quantizer uses a variation of Hoare's selection algorithm to reduce digital hardware complexity. A prototype in 40 nm CMOS has a measured dynamic range of 135 dBA, a -124.5 dB THD+N, and a -125 dB THD.
