Radiation Recall Myositis Following Carboplatin/Docetaxel Chemotherapy.

Palliative radiation is an effective form of treatment that can provide meaningful symptom relief in a variety of clinical settings. With continuing advances in clinical therapies, long-term survival after palliative treatment for symptomatic disease is increasingly common, and patients may receive a variety of systemic therapy options following radiation. Here, we report a case and management of radiation recall myositis following administration of carboplatin and docetaxel, a combination which has not previously been associated with this reaction.
