•SiCaP-packed 3D-printed lamellar titanium cages were studied in TLIF and LLIF.•Solid fusion was achieved in 92/93 (98.9%) patients with good integration of cages.•Pain/disability scores decreased and quality of life improved 1 year post-surgery.
