Retraction notice to ICAM-1 PROMOTES THE ABNORMAL ENDOTHELIAL CELL PHENOTYPE IN CHRONIC THROMBOEMBOLIC PULMONARY HYPERTENSION.

This article has been retracted at the request of the Authors. This request follows an examination by The Editors of the uncut gels provided by the authors, which led the Editors to conclude that data were compromised in the following western blot images: Figure 3C, Figure 5B and Figure 6B. Duplicated data for the beta actin images were found in Figures 5 and 6. Examination of the raw data used for the western blot quantification also revealed frequent duplicated data. The microscopy data in Figure 5A also has features compatible with compromised data although the raw data were not available to the Editors due to the regrettable death of Dr. Saadia Eddahibi. All of the remaining authors agree with the retraction and apologize to the Editors and the readers of The Journal for difficulties this issue has caused.
