No genetic associations with mepolizumab efficacy in COPD with peripheral blood eosinophilia.

•Genetic effects were tested on mepolizumab efficacy in COPD.•This study used data from two clinical studies (n = 610 subjects) in a GWAS.•All subjects were diagnosed with COPD with peripheral blood eosinophilia.•No genetic association was detected with exacerbation or SGRQ endpoints.•Common variants do not affect response to mepolizumab in these subjects with COPD.
