Contemporary oncologic outcomes of second induction course BCG in patients with nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer.

•NMIBC patients who recur/persist after 1st induction BCG may benefit from a 2nd induction of BCG.•Pathologic stage before 2nd induction BCG does not predict progression to MIBC.•The time interval between the 1st and 2nd induction of BCG does not significantly affect response to 2nd induction BCG.
