Effect of volatiles produced by Trichoderma spp. on expression of glutathione transferase genes in Sclerotinia sclerotiorum

•The volatiles from Trichoderma spp. reduced the growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.•Carpogenic and myceliogenic germination of the pathogen was reduced by volatiles.•The volatiles up-regulated glutathione S-transferase genes in the pathogen.
