摘要

•A deep-learning-based porosity monitoring scheme is developed for laser AM process.•The laser AM system is instrumented with a low-cost coaxial camera setup.•Micro porosities below 100 μm can be reliably detected.•Volume porosity in both high- and low- porosity cases can be accurately predicted.
