摘要
•Cl− channel family ClC and CLIC are upregulated in glioma and affect cellular functions.•Synergistic role of Ca2+ and Cl− in glioma– Ca2+ influx enhances ClC-3 activity which induces RVD.•ICl,swell in glioma promotes cell proliferation, migration and invasion via RVD.•Pharmacological Cl− channel inhibitors can potentially have therapeutic effects for glioma treatment.
