Grid Connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Topology Controlled Using Tsbc

A novel topology is proposed in this paper for integrating solar and wind energy sources to the grid. Triple Star Bridge Cell (TSBC) configuration is used to feed power from DFIG and Solar PV System (SPVS) simultaneously. Due to the modular structure of TSBC, the proposed scheme is highly reliable. The principle of operation and control of the proposed topology is discussed in this paper. The proposed scheme is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink to validate the control logic and establish the merits of the proposed topology.
