摘要

•Nosocomial infections remain an essential source of patient morbidity and mortality.•The study showed pathogens often causing nosocomial infections were present in blood sampling sites.•Disinfectant effect of pulsed xenon ultraviolet and that of non-thermal atmospheric plasma are comparable.
