In this paper a 1-V, 290-mu W, 82-dB SNR analog front-end (AFE) for audio SoC application is presented. Under a condition of multi-frequency signal, a novel peak-statistical (PS) algorithm is proposed to track signal amplitude statistical data and adjust auto gain control loop (AGC) gain precisely. A comparative-DWA is applied to break the correlation of in-band tone and sequential selection scheme, which realizes 2nd-order noise shaping and suppresses harmonic effectively. Finally peak SNR of 82 dB is achieved and it is better than other recently published works.
