New carbapenem/βLI combinations may be viable alternatives to antimicrobial combination therapy as they displayed high efficacy and Meropenem/Avibactam and Meropenem/Relebactam should be tested on larger sample sizes with different carbapenemases before progressing further in its preclinical development.
