摘要
La2O3 nanorods (La2O3-R) with exposed {110} crystal facets were synthesized. The hemispherical platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) are uniformly deposited on the {110} surfaces of La2O3-R (Pt/La2O3-R) prepared by the method of gas bubbling assisted membrane reduction. Supported Pt NPs are beneficial for improving the redox ability of La2O3-R Pt/La2O3-R catalyst exhibits higher activity (T-50 = 369 degrees C, TOF = 1.79 S1- x 10(-3)) for soot oxidation compared with particle-type La2O3-supported Pt NP catalyst (Pt/La2O3-P) under conditions of soot-catalyst loose contact. The activity of Pt/La2O3-R catalyst strongly depends on the rod morphology of La2O3-R and the strong Pt-La2O3 interaction. The chemisorbed active oxygen species originating from the interaction interface of Pt NPs and {110} crystal facets of La2O3-R are responsible for improving the catalytic activity of the Pt/La2O3-R catalyst. The Pt/La2O3-R catalyst also shows high stability of activity and nanostructure during soot oxidation.
