摘要

•2D MoS2 and WS2 nanosheets were synthesized by means of a CVD method.•A novel Nd:GdYNbO4 mixed crystal was grown and used as laser medium.•Pulsed MoS2/WS2 Nd:GdYNbO4 lasers performance was demonstrated for the first time.
