摘要
The enzymes of mammalian glycogen metabolism are regulated in a coordinated manner by interconversion between phosphorylated and dephosphorylated forms.Protein phosphatase action serves to promote anabolism and suppress catabolism. The activity of protein phosphatase itself may be regulated and it is suggested that this enzyme is the target for the action of insulin in stimulating glycogen and lipid synthesis.
