摘要
Carbazole-fluorescein-based imine (CFI) has been developed as a first chemosensor for selective estimation of ammonia in the nanomolar range in cold-storage potatoes, along with other vegetables and fruits. The "turn-on" fluorescence property of the chemosensor through colorimetric or fluorimetric changes makes it unique for easy, rapid and cost-effective detection of ammonia with a simple paper strip.
