摘要
Nowadays, effective congestion management (CM) algorithms are essential for improving the network security and reliability. In this paper, two novel different approaches are introduced in order to identify the critical transmission lines in congestion. Afterwards, distributed generation (DGs) and energy storage systems (ESSs) are optimally scheduled by the help of power transfer distribution factors (PTDFs) to alleviate the envisaged congestion. The objective function is the congestion mitigation and decision variable including the optimal DG and ESS rescheduling and the optimal charge or discharge modes of ESSs. The developed methodology provides the vital signals for the power system operators to take the appropriate measures for congestion mitigation especially during emergency situations. The proposed model is applied on the IEEE 30-bus test system, and the obtained results confirm the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method in CM.
