Structural assessment of HL-2M in-vessel cryopump under EM loads

•HL−2M in-vessel cryopump structure design is introduced.•The structure static analysis under EM load has been performed for preventing the damage.•The structure assessment of welds have been done with SDC-IC.•The structure assessment of ceramics have been done with ASTM C1239/ISO-20501.•The structure assessment of the key components for the HL-2M cyropump based on ASME Code have been done, include Protection against Plastic Collapse, Protection against Local Failure, Protection against Failure from Cyclic Load, satisfy the structural design requirements.
