Formulation of PEDOT:S-Graphene Hybrid and Its Application as Transparent Conducting Electrode Materials

Novel chemically reduced graphene oxide/poly(vinyl sulfate) (rGO/PVS) assembly has been simply prepared by noncovalent method. Polymerization of EDOT on rGO/PVS assembly (S-Graphene) produced rGO/PVS/PEDOT hybrid (PEDOT:S-Graphene). Transparent conducting electrodes (TECs) based on PEDOT:S-Graphene revealed higher electrical conductivity together with higher optical transparency and colorlessness compared with TCEs based on the traditional PEDOT:PSS. Both high dispersion stability and ultrathin morphology of S-Graphene and PEDOT:S-Graphene contributes to the synergistic TCE performance enhancement through the coexistence of electrically conducting PEDOT and rGO in the hybrid TEC materials.
