•Postharvest UV-treatments decreased berry skin quercetin-glycoside contents.•UV-A and UV-B had the same transient effects after 2 h.•UV increased peroxidase activity but decreased non-enzymatic antioxidant capacities.•Total antioxidant capacity correlated with flavonol but not with phenolic acid content.
