Bonding assessment of semi-precast slabs subjected to flexural load and differential shrinkage

•Bonding of composite structure under loading and differential shrinkage is assessed.•Equations are given to evaluate the forces and stresses due to differential shrinkage.•Bonding assessment was applied to semi-precast slabs on the risk of debonding.•The proposed method can quantify experimentally bonding at the interface.
