摘要

•This is the first report on phytochemistry and bioactivity of Oparanthus teikiteetinii.•Two dihydrobenzofuran derivatives (1–2) were identified for the first time.•Several compounds stimulate GLP-1 secretion in STC-1 cells without cytotoxicity.•12-hydroxy-tremetone (7) is the most active with a stimulation of 305 ± 26%.
