Neoarchean granitoid gneisses in Eastern Hebei, North China Craton: Revisited

•The close spatial and temporal relationships in terms of Neoarchean magmatism and metamorphism suggest a uniform tectonothermal evolution.•The dioritic and TTG gneisses are produced by magma mixing of mafic and felsic magmas.•The Archean proto-mantle plume model is proposed for tectonic setting during the Neoarchean.
