Superplastic dual-phase nanostructure Mg alloy: A molecular dynamics study

•The introduction of amorphous phase and ACI can improve the plasticity of Mg alloy.•Two different deformation mechanisms occur depending on d and t.•Reducing d and increasing t is consistent for improving the plastic effect.•The optimal matching relationship between d and t is given.•Some qualitativeandquantitative analysis is presented.
