Multiplexed detection of pathogens using magnetic microparticles encoded by magnetic axes

摘要
•Microparticle encoded by 12 axes of magnetic nanoparticle is developed for multiplexed assay.•Decoding only requires external magnetic field and single-color fluorescent label.•Multiplexed assay was demonstrated with four types of bacteria.•Analysis time <35 min and limit of detection 10–100 CFU ml−1 were achieved.
